Number sentence by Kane

We have been learning to make a story to match  a given number sentence.


1. 49+6=    

Anthony had 49 toy cars in his toy box. His friend Mahara gave him 6 cars on his his birthday. How many cars does Anthony have together?


2. 67-19
Tom had 67 ice-creams. He gave Liam and his friends 19. How many ice creams does Tom have left?

3. 146-68     
William had 146 bananas. He gave Sam 68.  How many bananas does William have left?

4.230+145
Ryan had 230 lollipops. Then his friend gave him 145 more. How many lollipops does Ryan have altogether?

5. 5x4
Samuel had 4 bags of toy cars in the cupboard. In each bag there were 5 toy cars.  How many cars does Samuel have?

6.18/6
I have 18 books. I gave them all away to 6 children, they all have the same number of books. How many books does each child get?
